CARRIE'S HOUSE PRESCHOOL
Equipment is provided for large motor skills, such as
climbing, kicking, running, throwing, digging, jumping,
and more. Also develops cognitive when a child may
count the rungs to the top of a climbing structure,
plans his climb or map out a direction and a distance
to ride a toy or watch for others in path. Social skills
are developed by taking turns and interacting with
each other.
We also have outside activities for small motor skill
like chalk, bubbles, buckets for picking up leaves or
acorns or put sand in them.
We play games, sing, read books, eat snacks and
more outside! Also, we have sand and water table
for scooping, pouring, patting, dumping, splashing,
floating, cooking, cleaning and anything else a child
can create. Cognitive skills are developed by
measuring sand or water or maps out roads in sand.
Social skills are learned by sharing, interaction, and
cooperation.
Sometimes it is fun just to watch the clouds go by or
count airplanes that go by!
